* Vidyarambam pooja is performed between 6:45am to 1:00 pm Daily.
Navarathri Festival – October 12th,2024 (Vijayadashami) Vidyarambam Starts at 4:00 am
Note: Vidyarambam can be performed for the age 2.5 & above
Procedures to do Vidyarambam in Mookambika Temple:
Step1: Vidyarambam Kanike : Rs.200/Child Should be paid at mookamabika temple seva booking counter outside the main temple at the day of performing.
Step 2: Next Move to the saraswathi mandapam outside the main temple with your kanike ticket to perform vidyarambam.
Step 3: Pandit will tell the mantra, you need to hold your child’s hand to write a mantra on the rice(rice grain plate) as ” Om Hari Sri Ganapthye Namaha ” After that pandit will write a mantra with your golden ring on your Child’s Tongue.
Pooja Duration : 15-20 min
Note: Take a golden ring along with you when your are planning to perform vidyarambam for your child in kollur.
